ABOUT…

Welcome to Coffee Beans & Blessings…

My name is Frankie, and this blog is a space where I share the journey of a faith rediscovered.

For a long time, I walked a path that felt increasingly distant from God. But sometimes, it is only when our physical world changes that our spiritual eyes begin to open. As someone who is legally blind, I have had to learn a new way of navigating the world – one that relies less on what I can see and entirely on the One who guides my steps. When my world went dark, I found that He was already there, waiting to lead me back to the light.

My Journey & Faith.

I am an Anglo-Catholic, and my return to Christianity has been a process of learning, listening, and leaning into the grace of Jesus Christ. This blog is a personal record of that return. It is about finding the extraordinary in the ordinary, the blessings in the daily grind of life, and the steady hand of the Creator in the midst of life’s greatest challenges.

Why ‘Coffee Beans & Blessings’?

Life is often lived in the small moments – the quiet of a morning cup of coffee and the whispered prayers that sustain us. The name for this blog actually grew from a very specific memory: when I first stepped through the doors of the church to attend the Alpha course, I was always greeted with a warm smile and a hot cup of coffee. In that simple, welcoming gesture, the ice began to break, and a path toward healing started to open.

Here, I write about my story, my struggles, and the profound joy of being found by a God who never stopped looking for me. Whether you are a lifelong believer, someone returning to the fold like myself, or simply searching for a bit of light in the shadows, I am glad you are here. Let’s explore this path of faith together, one blessing at a time.

Blessings,

Frankie.
